1963 - 1979 The Netherlands
Back in the Netherlands, her work becomes more figurative again. For example, the basis is a landscape, which she then abstracts from a bird's-eye view. The compositions are well thought out and her brushstroke gradually becomes tighter.
The human figures also return, often outlined and looking you straight in the face with an open gaze.
At the same time, she experiments with patterns and strongly contrasting colours. She makes many large format paintings.
